Applications for the 2010-2011 school year are now available for download in ENGLISH or SPANISH. We accept applications for grades Kindergarten through fifth grade. We will be accepting applications between October 1, 2009 and February 26, 2010.
You may mail, FAX (619) 795-3090 or deliver your completed application.
Once we receive your application:
An email will be sent within 2 weeks verifying receipt of your child’s application. If you do not have email, a postcard will be sent.
For those parents who apply for their children that currently live in the school district of San Diego, you will receive an email in February with an invitation to an Open House. We typically hold our one time a year Open House in March. If you do not have email, a postcard will be sent. Sorry, children are not invited to this event. If your child is accepted, you will be invited to a special tour/orientation for new parents and children before the beginning of the new school year.
In March of 2010, we will complete our first lottery which will include those applicants who live within the school district of San Diego. All parents of children in the first lottery will be notified no later than May of 2010 regarding the outcome of this lottery. Those applicants outside the school district of San Diego will be considered for our second lottery if more students are needed beyond our first lottery. Late applications, those received after February 26, 2010, will not be accepted.
For all Kindergarten Applicants:
Your child must be 5 years old before September 1, 2010 for your application to be accepted. We do not make any exceptions to this rule.
It is necessary to re-apply each year if your child is not accepted.
Miscellaneous School Information
School days and hours are as follows: Monday through Friday 8:15 am to 3 pm; every Wednesday is a half day with dismissal at 12:15 pm.
After school care is provided until 6 pm Monday through Thursday and until 5 pm on Friday. The cost of after school care is currently $5.50 per hour.
We offer an after school program which includes classes in Chess, Sports, Music, Art, Dance, Spanish, just to name a few for an additional fee.
We currently do not offer before school care.
