Our application process has now ended and we are no longer accepting applications for the 2010/11 school year. 

Letters will be going out no later than May regarding the outcome of our first lottery which includes those children who live in the school district of San Diego.  If your child was not selected for the 2010/11 school year, you will need to re-apply if you would like your child to be considered for the 2011/12 school year.  Our new application for the 2011/12 school year will be available on our website October 1, 2010.  Thank you for your interest in Explorer School.

 

Miscellaneous School Information

School days and hours are as follows:  Monday through Friday 8:15 am to 3 pm; every Wednesday is a half day with dismissal at 12:20 pm.

After school care is provided until 6 pm Monday through Thursday and until 5 pm on Friday.  The cost of after school care is currently $5.50 per hour.

We offer an after school program which includes classes in Chess, Sports, Music, Art, Spanish, just to name a few for an additional fee.

We currently do not offer before school care.
