The Carey Family Library, a comfortable, inviting facility, is buzzing with children and parents. Thanks to the generosity of so many, the library currently has over 10,000 children’s volumes and a small but growing collection of education, child development and parenting books for the parents and teachers in our community. Students can be found reading quietly before school and during lunch. After school homework help is also available.

During their scheduled library time, each class is engaged while listening to stories, checking out books, learning about things of curricular and personal interest, conducting research, as well as participating in interesting and challenging projects planned in collaboration between the classroom teacher and the library media teacher, Marsha Korobkin. This year we are fortunate to have a part-time library assistant, Roxyanne Young.

Elizabeth Carey chairs the library committee.
If you are interested in working in the library, we do need more volunteers.
Email Elizabeth or stop by and speak with either Marsha or Roxy.
